Indian market is suddenly loaded with new car launches specifically in hatchback segment. After the launch of ‘A Star’, Suzuki launched Ritz in hatchback segment. Hyundai came up with new i20 but having same engine of i10. Honda followed with his Honda Jazz. Fiat jumps with his Punto and now Hyundai races ahead with his improved and powerful version of i20. Seriously, mid level customer is spoilt for choices in the market and having tough time to decide on the ‘lovely’ one.

I did comparison of prices and specifications between Honda Jazz and City and I am not convinced to go for Honda Jazz. I will still save for Honda City. Here is why?

Do you remember those old days when Daewoo was aggressive all over the Car world market with their Cars like Matiz. Suddenly Daewoo went bankrupt last decade and there were no owner for quiet some time. Because of this development, all dealers of Daewoo in India closed their shop as well as their service centers. This leads to Chaos among Matiz owners when they could not get their car serviced. Btw, General motors is the owner of Daewoo now.
General Motors, Ford as well as Chrysler may file for bankruptcy sometime next year. It is a good news that
American Congress announced a $17.4 billion loan package today to rescue General Motors and Chrysler. Ford is having much better position today as compared with General Motors and Chrysler. Interestingly, Ford passed their good percent of liabilities (burden) last year to Tata Motors in the form of Jaguar and hummer.

Tata has given the chance exclusive to ‘AutomoblieMag’ of sneak peak the Tata Nano and feel the drive. ‘AutomoblieMag’ haven’t driven it, but they’ve been to Tata’s test track in Pune, India, and scored a ride in the Nano with Tata’s engineers on the driver seat. Nobody else outside Tata has experienced it “in action.
So a low price alone won’t be enough; the Nano will have to perform at least a little bit like a “proper” car. And it does.
You open one of four very light, flimsy-feeling doors and enter a remarkably airy cabin. The whole car is only 122 inches long (sixteen inches longer than a Smart ForTwo), but with the engine under the rear seats and virtually no nose, almost all of that is usable cabin space, with one six-footer able to sit comfortably behind another. The seats are firm, the cloth in which they’re trimmed feels of decent quality (base models get vinyl upholstery), and the big one-piece dash molding with its central speedometer is made of a surprisingly good-looking plastic.
